Saturday 11 December 2010

Ahhhh a lovely sunny day at last, even if it is December. They have been greatly missed. I took this photograph at the end of my garden in my Shetland Pony's field. I am actually pleasantly surprised by how well the photograph came out as I only took it on my mobile phone. Still I thought that it was beautiful and it is a day to be remembered as it is a change from the usual -9 degrees. Today on the 11th December 2010 it is in fact 2 degrees but feels a lot warmer.

Ready to go?

I just saw this old broken bike in the side of the pavement when we were on holiday and thought it would make a great picture. What do you think?x

Funny parts of our holiday to York. Signs in the transport Museum and... oh the the car!!

Some rather funny sings here.

Our perfect car for the future (although as it is in the Museum, I don't think that we can have it :c)

Cheeky Monkeys!

I took these pictures as I thought that they were hilarious! They are from a collection of photos that I took when we were on a day trip to Banham Zoo at the beginning of the summer holidays. The pictures are of Freya, Beth and Reece. I think that the funniest thing about these photos are that the Monkey masks fit all of their faces almost perfectly!

Knitting book used to knit Dennis The Duck

This is an adorable book full of useful knitting patterns from 'vest and pantie sets' to Tea Cosies. It also includes abbreviations and instructions on how to do the different types of stitch. The second picture is of the front cover and the first is of  the inside cover, this picture is of knitted clothing, cotton thread, buttons, knitting needles and balls of wool to give it an interesting effect. The pictures in this book are also lovely as they are of in black and white but are also very detailed. Some of the clothing in this book is modelled on smiling men and women, cute babies or even on old washing lines. I love this book and would recommend it to other knitters, or if you don't knit it still looks lovely amongst a shelf of old books in any room in your house.  :)
